Responsibilities
  • For the centre responsible for our subsidiaries and associated companies overseas, our main function is the management of IT projects for the optmization of operational processes, for the continous improvement of applications and support of the Raphael ground control station platform.
  • Our group is devoted to planning and executing IT projects of strategic importance. The location of this vacancy is Guadalajara, México. Occasionally, the candidate could be required to have the availability to be deployed overseas for brief periods in the contact of specific projects.
  • For this dynamic and interesting vacancy we seek a flexible, motivated, and highly competent personality; preferably educated to postgraduate level.
  • The candidate, who will become part of the business technology team, will collaborate with other team members on the management of IT projects in the general area of unmanned vehicles software systems.
  • The candidate will be concerned, among other tasks, with the independent management of projects in a methodical and professional manner. For these management activities the candidate will be asked to follow a proprietary in-house methodology.
  • He or she will be responsible for the operation of complete project modules from the very beginning to that of implementation, taking into consideration quality, time and budget objectives.
  • Those responsible for projects must be capable of evaluating risks associated to technology projects and will monitor progress so as to have the supervisory means of each activity in all circumstances.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate education in a numerate discipline or IT management;
  • Professional experience of more than 2 years working on projects and Project-Management;
  • Knowledge of robotics and/or unmanned systems and of GIS;
  • Extensive knowledge of ground control systems;
  • Good analytical abilities;
  • Knowledge and experience dealing with projects in a methodical manner (e.g. AS/ISO certification) and applying a process oriented towards the attainment of objectives;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to motivate others involved in a given project;
  • Working knowledge (written and spoken) of Spanish and fluent English.
